The 8th edition of the Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin (FFFB) took place from 7-11 October 2026 at Kino Moviemento, bringing together international filmmakers, industry professionals and film lovers for five inspiring days of cinema, conversations and connection.
I once again curated the film, side programme and organised the edition, showcasing diverse international perspectives and powerful storytelling. This year's festival was a wonderful success, with sold-out screenings, engaging filmmaker Q&As and insightful industry discussions, including Through Her Lens, focusing on female cinematographers, and The Power of Sound, celebrating women working in film sound.
It was incredibly rewarding to see such an enthusiastic response from audiences and filmmakers alike and to continue building a platform for underrepresented voices in cinema.
I’m already looking forward to the 9th edition, taking place from 6-10 October 2027!
