Why do people buy pink clothes and toys straight away when a baby girl is born and why do they decide for blue without thinking further about it when it's a baby boy? How come everyone is constantly trying to look as young as possible? Who says what's attractive or not? "Pink Me Blue" shows a world, in which things are exactly the other way around: men have to wear pink, women have to wear blue and looking as old as possible is considered to be beautiful. I chose to tell the story with many different elements and as a genre mix to focus on the bizarreness of the world we live in. There is also a little reference to a fairytale in the film...can you spot it?
